This beautiful guy is rideable and ready to make friends with his next person! He came to GRG because he had some health issues that weren’t disclosed to the person who bought him. He’d come from someone who buys and sells a lot of horses, and it wasn’t the right fit. Ozzy came to us quite overweight–about 200 pounds over what is healthy for him, and he wasn’t moving well.

All he needed was to get down to a healthy weight and to assess why he was sore–it turned out that he has navicular syndrome, and a set of front shoes with wedge pads was just the ticket to give him relief. Now he is looking and feeling great.

He had a training refresher and is in a fantastic foster home, and he’s ready now for a permanent home with someone looking for a kind, fun, golden horse to love.

Note: All horses at GRG are microchipped, on a regular schedule of appropriate vaccinations, Coggins, deworming, feet trimming and dental work as advised by the veterinarians we work with. Horses who come to us with special medical, hoof care, or other needs get the diagnostic workup necessary to get them healthy and comfortable. Vet records, x-rays available upon request. Pre-purchase exams are welcome and encouraged (by your veterinarian, at your cost).
