This beautiful pair came into the rescue mid May, 2022. Ryker with an undiagnosed rear right leg injury and Ruby having gone blind from chronic uveitis (easily prevented and treated), they immediately got the vet care they needed and were put on the proper treatment plans to ensure they felt their best, and both looked forward to a life of love and light trail riding.

In August of 2022- this pair was feeling fantastic, and even better once they were adopted by their little human herd. Now, these kids are home.

Buck is such a gentleman, and we were THRILLED when one of our volunteers fell in love and said "YES!!” to the horse!! He was said to be lame- and while he does have sensitive heels and needs shoes and pads- was found to be otherwise sound. But also, he's gaited- not a quarter horse, at least not entirely. So he may be a quarter horse - foxtrotter cross, based on his head and his movement? But he does gait!

He's been put in shoes with full wedge pads and is moving great now, and we are SO excited for what the future holds for these two!!

Meet Reggie, the HUGE Shire gelding! This absolute gentleman was a surrender to GRG Ranch. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with OCD in both hocks and needed surgery, but the funds just weren't available so she needed to reach out to do what was best for his future and contacted GRG Ranch.

We were able to get him in with Dr Ernst at the University of Minnesota VERY quickly with the help of Dr. Ott and Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital, and on Nov 1st his arthroscopy was completed and VERY successful!

We expect a full recovery and a future of moving soundly for this gentle giant. One of our favorite techs from Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital fell in love with this beautiful boy LONG before we met him, so we were absolutely THRILLED when she made the decision to welcome him into her family! His future is wide open, and we can't wait to see where this duo goes!

Beloved by his family but unable to give him what he needed when he developed high ring bone, we were humbled to be entrusted with this sweet boys future. And THRILLED when it was love at first sight with our friend and one of our most valued team members. Even better, our boy is living with our other GRG alumni, Buck!!

The love and the connection is undeniable, and we can't wait to hear about all their shenanigans together as their future unfolds!

We know virtually nothing about this handsome boy other than he is an absolute gentleman who fell in love immediately with his new human!

Helping with his rehab post auction, these two were meant to be. And we couldn't be happier that she said “Yes!!” to the horse. He will feel ALL the love he should have, get the best in care, and this boy has a true partner in life now.

His person knows his limitations and loves him for them. The perfect pair!!

Bubba Gump was adopted in February of 2023 and has been living his best life in his forever home!

Previously overused by kids far too big for him, this sweet little man came in afraid and people shy. He's opened up so much and is a friendly, confident little man, and he's landed in SUCH love with his new family. We are so, so excited about this little man's future with his forever home.

Arriving with us feral, we couldn't be more proud of how far this little pair of brothers have come. And now they've found their forever home with their person and are on to a lifetime of adventures together.

Latoya- now Caroline- came to us as part of a six pack of young stock that flooded auctions in 2023. She arrived traumatized, fearful, and sick. She’s become sassy, sweet, athletic, and affectionate. She’s been adopted and will be working with HH Stable for compassionate and knowledgeable training.

From the moment he arrived, volunteer Amy Martinez was drawn to this big, beautiful baby doofus. After several weeks of getting to know him, she knew she wanted him to be her very first equine partner. Following a PPE to be sure she knew exactly what he needed and what he was capable of, this incredible human being and valued volunteer made everything official. Now, she has him- and he has her.
